The BTEC Work Skills qualifications are well recognised suite of

qualifications that are used to develop the employability skills of diverse groups of learners.

Dealing with Customers

This qualification is aimed at learners who are interested in a career which involves dealing with customers. This course will prepare learners for employment and support learners who deal, or intend to deal with customer on a daily basis as part of their job role.

 

It is applicable to a variety of work environments and covers topics such as dealing with customer requests, communication skills and making telephone calls to customers.

Once you have completed a course with us, we will continue to support you until you progress into employment or further study programmes. We are now very proud to be a Matrix Standard Centre that specialises in IAG (information, Advice and Guidance and all staff are IAG qualified or working towards).

Importance of Good Customer Service

This course is a 10 day course and we are very flexible with our delivery offers, to suit your individual needs.

 

On the course you will learn about the importance of good customer service, know how to communicate in a customer service role, know the standards of professionalism required in customer service roles, know how to manage your own work, know the types of information that customers usually require and know employee rights and responsibilities in a place of work.

 

The qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria.

Progression

On completion of this course it will boost your chances of employment or progression in your chosen careers.

All learners on completion will have a BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service as well as gaining up to a level 2 qualification in Maths and English. Learners could also progress onto Level 2 qualification in Customer Service.
