About Health and Social Care
The objective of this qualification is to provide learners with an introduction to the health and social care environment and provide support in preparation for a role in health and social care. The content of this qualification is designed to give learners the essential knowledge that can be used in a health and social care environment.
Upon completion of the Level 1 version of this course, you can progress onto Level 2 to grow your confidence before applying for a job in this sector.

Course Information
This qualification covers health and social care topics which include duty of care, communication, equality and diversity, mental health awareness and personal development.
The qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence which is put together during the course and demonstrates the learner has met the required assessment criteria.
